Judged annually by Ad Age’s editorial staff, the Ad Age A-List is one of the advertising industry’s most prestigious awards programs. This is the fourth time Essence has been included in the A-List edition having previously been recognized as an 'Agency to Watch' in 2018, 2016, and 2015.
Explaining their decision, Ad Age described Essence’s abilities in artificial intelligence and machine learning as '[flying] in the face of popular narratives in the marketing industry' and lauded the agency's ability to attract and retain analytics talent.
Essence’s recognition comes after a year of continued growth, leadership, and innovation in the application of AI and machine learning to shape the future of marketing and advertising.
