Shane Dewar is Vice President, Advertising Operations, APAC at Essence, a global data and measurement-driven media agency which is part of GroupM.
In his role, Shane is responsible for the enablement of advertising technology and the integration of data systems for the ad serving platforms of Essence's clients in the region. He is charged with ensuring campaign success, from onboarding, to campaign architecture and results measurement. His efforts focus on improving data measurement, privacy solutions and brand safety technologies.
Previously part of the Advertising Operations team at Essence’s London office, Shane moved to Singapore to establish the Advertising Operations practice for APAC. Prior to Essence, he made his foray into advertising operations with News Digital Media in Australia. With over a decade of experience, his expertise in advertising technology, troubleshooting and solutions development is complemented by an aptitude for team training and building.
Shane is currently a member of the Regional Identity Council at IAB Southeast Asia and India. A graduate from the University of Sydney, he is also an avid rugby player and a HIIT practitioner outside of work.
