Head of Experience, APAC
Magda Wolder is Head of Experience, APAC at Essence, a global data and measurement-driven media agency which is part of GroupM. Based out of Singapore, she leads the agency’s creative, content innovation and studio capabilities in the region.
Essence’s Experience practice utilises data science and machine learning to deliver more relevant, meaningful and effective creative. This includes innovation across all digital media channels and custom content programmes for some of the world’s most prolific brands.
In her role, Magda champions an empathy-based approach to creative, and leads a team of strategists, conceptual thinkers, design experts and technology-powered production partners to create data-driven creative innovation for clients. Joining Essence in 2018, she was Head of Creative Strategy, EMEA at the agency’s London office before moving to APAC.
Magda has over a decade of experience bringing advertising and ideas together in the media, technology and entertainment industries. Prior to Essence, she worked as a senior researcher at Netflix for EMEA in the Netherlands, as well as a lead creative strategist and head of customer closeness at Sky in the United Kingdom.
Magda received a master’s degree in Research, and a bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of West London. Aside from work, she is actively involved in mentoring emerging female industry leaders and entrepreneurs.
