Kate Scott-Dawkins enjoys working at the intersection of advertising, technology, artificial intelligence, and creativity. She has lived and worked on three continents, and studied five languages.
For the past seven years, Kate has helped Essence and its clients respond to challenges related to strategy, growth, and innovation. Her interest in future trends and competitive strategy fuel her long and ever-growing reading list.
Passionate about opportunities for women and girls in STEAM - Kate serves on the board of Career Girls, a non-profit which helps close the imagination gap for girls around the world by providing access to diverse role models and career path guidance.
Kate holds a B.A. in Linguistics from the University of California, Los Angeles and an MBA from the University of Cambridge Judge Business School.
Competed as a member of the U.S. Archery team and won back to back national collegiate championships while studying at UCLA.
Serves as a judge for MIT's Inclusive Innovation Challenge which awards $1.6 million to entrepreneurs using technology to create economic opportunity for workers.
