EVP, Global Head of Analytics
John Stewart is Essence's Global Head of Analytics.
A digital marketer and strategist with career experience spanning management consulting, website development, and interactive marketing, John has a deep expertise in bridging the gap between business strategy, digital strategy, and technology.
In his career, John has worked across a wide array of industry sectors, including consumer electronics, CPG, telecommunications and technology, financial services, transportation, manufacturing, and retail. He has extensive knowledge in both B2C and B2B consumer behavior and trends and specialist expertise in digital strategy, user-centric design, ROI analysis, investment prioritization, and competitive analysis.
Prior to joining Essence, John worked for more than a decade in data and analytics leadership roles at Digitas and at Agency.com. He has also served as a consultant and analyst at Bain & Company and BP Amoco.
Based out of Essence's Chicago office, John holds an MBA in Marketing from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from the University of Calgary.
