In his role as Chief Advisor at Essence, Dan plays a critical role helping Essentials at all levels maximize their potential, lead teams, and create an environment where everyone feels free to bring their true selves to work each day.
Dan is the chief architect of Essence's cultural fabric and global approach to learning and development. Since joining Essence in 2012 he has leveraged his extensive professional experience in organizational transformation to design and implement change programs integral to our own growth.
Prior to Essence, Dan served as Head of Organizational Development at Sony Music Entertainment, as Head of Organizational Development & Change Management at Crossrail, and as Head of Operational Change & Employee Engagement at Eurostar. He has also worked as a Performance Management Specialist at Marks and Spencer and as a Professor at Derby Tertiary College: Wilmorton.
Dan holds a B.A. (Hons) in Hotel and Business Management from Birmingham College of Food Tourism and creative studies, a Post Grad Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring from CIPD & Oxford School of Coaching and Mentoring, a Diploma in Neuro-Linguistic Psychotherapy from the Academy of NLPt, and is currently pursuing his Masters in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies.
