Alison Latimer Lohse

Alison is EVP, Global Strategic Solutions at Essence. In her role, she helps lead the NBCU portfolio of brands for Essence, while also partnering with the GroupM agency business leads on growing their business through product and services.
Alison has more than 20 years of marketing experience. She was fortunate to ride the wave of digital marketing’s rise at innovative agencies like Starcom IP and Avenue A/Razorfish, working on brands including the US Army, General Motors, Microsoft, Best Buy, Kellogg, Disney and many more. She left agency life for 7 years to focus on attribution analytics, first at Visual IQ and then co-founding Conversion Logic as COO/CSO. Kismet and her small consultancy, Fresh Alchemy, brought her to Essence to support a transforming NBCU.
Alison lives in Los Angeles and is mom to two incredible teenagers. She enjoys travel, hiking and exploring the richness of the city. She holds a BA degree from Lawrence University in Art History, with a focus on Medieval Illuminated Manuscripts. She also has a Masters in Art Business from the University of Manchester (UK).
