Top scores for Essence in Campaign Asia-Pacific's Agency Report Cards 2020
Essence has been awarded an 'Excellent' grade by Campaign Asia-Pacific in its 18th annual evaluation of 39 APAC agency networks based on overall business performance, innovation, creative output, awards, staff development, diversity, and leadership in 2020.
Essence's 'Excellent' (B+) grade is maintained from 2019, and is the highest score issued to any agency in 2020 and the previous two years.
Additionally, Essence either improved on or maintained its grade in the 5 key categories of Management, Creativity, Innovation, Business Growth, and People and Diversity. In particular, this year, Essence is the only agency to receive the top 'Outstanding' (A-) grade in the Management, as well as the People and Diversity categories. Essence also held its 'Excellent' (B+) grade for the third year in the Innovation category, again the highest score for this category in 2020.
Essence has moved up three grades since the agency's first Report Card review in 2017, jumping from ‘Average’ (C+) to ‘Very Good’ (B), and then to ‘Excellent’ (B+) in 2019 and 2020.
