Essence is Campaign Magazine's US Media Agency of the Year

Essence has been named Media Agency of the Year by Campaign US in the publication's inaugural Agency of the Year Awards.

The awards ceremony, held at New York's Edison Ballroom on January 29, 2020, honored the industry's standout agencies for 2019 across seven categories, including Media Agency, Advertising Agency, Digital Innovation Agency, PR Agency, Customer Engagement, Brand Experience, Independent Agency, and Network Agency of the Year.

The finalists and winners in Campaign's Agency of the Year awards were determined by a jury of senior marketers and Campaign's editorial staff. In selecting Essence, Campaign pointed to our use of technology to pioneer new ways to deliver relevant advertising without relying on the use of personal data, as well as new business growth, thought leadership, and agency culture.
