Essence announces new heads of media planning and activation in EMEA
Essence, a global data and measurement-driven agency which is part of GroupM, today announced it has further strengthened its EMEA leadership team with the promotion of Jason Jutla to Head of Media Activation and Alina Kulesza to Head of Media Planning.

Both Jutla and Kulesza will report into Clare Chapman, Head of Media, EMEA.
Promoted from Group Strategy Director, with more than 20 years’ experience in planning and strategy, Kulesza will be responsible for integrating sustainability and inclusion into Essence’s planning process and connecting closely with strategy and activation. Kulesza joined Essence from Hearts & Science in the US having spent over ten years in planning and strategy roles at OMDUK.
Jutla began his Essence career as a graduate 11 years ago, setting up the programmatic practice in APAC and progressing to lead activation accounts for clients including Google. He was most recently promoted from VP Media Activation to head up the department and will be responsible for enabling best in class buying and activation for existing clients and new business.
