Digiday names Essence Most Innovative Media Agency of the Year

Digiday has named Essence as the industry's Most Innovative Media Agency in its 2020 Awards program, announced in a virtual ceremony on January 28th, 2021.

Now in its tenth year, The Digiday Awards was founded to recognize the innovators pushing the media industry forward and honor the companies, campaigns, and creative modernizing media and marketing.

Essence's recognition as Most Innovative Media Agency of the Year is the agency's tenth Agency of the Year award since 2019, following similar honors from MediaPost (2019 OMMA Agency of the Year), Adweek (2019 Breakthrough Media Agency of the Year), Campaign Magazine (2019 US Media Agency of the Year and 2020 Tech Agency of the Year), Advertising Age (2020 Data and Analytics Agency of the Year), AdExchanger (2019 Technology Agency of the Year and 2020 Best in Show and Programmatic Agency of the Year), and I-COM (2019 and 2020 Programmatic Agency of the Year). Essence was also named Digital Media Agency of the Year by The Drum in 2015.

Essence is currently also a finalist in Campaign Magazine's 2021 Agency of the Year Awards in the U.S., UK, and Germany with winners to be announced at events in February and March this year.
