Best in show - Essence tops four categories at the 2020 AdExchanger Awards
Essence's continued industry leadership has been recognized by AdExchanger at the 2020 AdExchanger Awards.
Established to celebrate the future of advertising and marketing, the AdExchanger Awards are judged by leading experts from across the industry. At the 2020 Awards, hosted virtually on May 21st, Essence was named the winner for 'Best Programmatic Capabilities by an Agency' for building a privacy-first global programmatic offering for the future, as well as 'Best Use of Data by an Agency' and 'Best Use of Technology by an Agency' for the application of first party data and AI to campaigns for Google.
Additionally, Essence received the program's highest honor, being selected by AdExchanger's editorial team to receive the Best in Show award for Overall Excellence in Programmatic Media.
The wins build on success at the inaugural AdExchanger Awards in 2019, in which Essence was awarded Best Use of Technology by an Agency and Best Overall Use of Programmatic in a Marketing Campaign, and add to recent recognition for Essence, including being named Ad Age's Agency of the Year for Data & Analytics and Media Agency of the Year by Campaign Magazine in the United States.
